Brand & Marketing
Design.

Alongside my product work, I wore a second hat across brand and marketing, partnering with the VP of Marketing and the threat research team to give Permiso a consistent, confident voice across its website, collateral, customer reports, and the decks my teammates carried on stage.

02 · Context

One designer, two hats.

The remit

At an early-stage startup, design rarely stays in its lane. While my primary focus was the product, I had a heavy hand in brand and marketing initiatives across two partnerships, making sure everything a customer or prospect saw felt like it came from the same company.

With the VP of Marketing, I helped update the company website, created visuals for the permiso.io blog, and produced marketing collateral, event displays and invites, and branded merch. With the VP of Threat Research and the threat research team, I designed customer-facing threat reports and the branded decks behind their conference talks.

The same instinct drives both hats: take something complex and give it a shape people can trust at a glance.

03 · The Work

Where design met the go-to-market motion.

With Marketing

Brand & campaigns

Working with the VP of Marketing to keep every outward-facing touchpoint on-brand, and A/B testing to see what actually resonated.

  • Company website updates
  • Blog visuals for permiso.io
  • Marketing collateral: one-pagers, displays & event invites
  • Branded merch
  • A/B testing of web & email assets
With Threat Research

Reports & talks

Working with the VP of Threat Research and the team to package deep technical findings for customers and the stage.

  • Customer-facing threat reports
  • An in-depth Scattered Spider report for a high-profile client
  • Branded decks for presentations & conferences
04 · A Closer Look

A branded report, end to end.

The customer reports ranged from routine to high-stakes, including an in-depth Scattered Spider report for a high-profile client (not shown here, due to sensitive content). To give a feel for the template system, the demo below is the Offboarding Report, which presents a departing user's access, sharing activity, and risk in a single, on-brand document. The data here is fictional (with a fittingly dramatic cast) to showcase the layout, typography, and data presentation rather than any real customer.

A brand earns trust in the small, consistent moments: the report in an inbox, the slide on a stage, the one-pager in a follow-up.
